Dear Sparkly Bliss Being,
Summertime is a time of the wild, time of expansion, letting your spirit soar free in the sun and water, enjoying the luscious beauty of nature, allowing some of the rigid structures (at least temporarily) crumble whilst stepping into a new experience, to rejuvenate the body, mind and spirit...SO essential for happiness of your being!
Here are some everyday tips to keep you fresh without the need to wait for the well deserved vacation:
*Wake up with a smile! Greet the new day with a blessing, song or a mantra (mantras are transcedental sounds lifting the vibration of your body-mind)..
*Remember gratitude. Express aloud all the things you are grateful for, you'll be surprised to realize how amazingly blessed and abundant you are!
*Connect with nature. Start your day with a morning walk, a quiet time in your back yard or at least looking out of an open window, listen to the birds, finding a park later (if living/working in a city), or place some living flowers on your desk. Take time to enjoy the outdoors as much as you can, enjoying the nurturing light and warmth. These are the longest days of a year, with some spectacular sunsets!
*Make changes in your daily routine. Routines can make us going 'automatic', living without a full participation. Even small changes in shifting order of things (like trying a new kind of tea, enlivening your senses with a new essential oil, taking a different route to work or taking the time to connect with your partner/child/yourself in the midst of 'to do' things) will help to bring you back into the magic a moment. The possibilities are endless, be creative!
*Make an eye contact. Perhaps you already do so with your partner (if not, make time for special eye gazing sessions)...What about looking deeply into the eyes of everyone you meet? Quietly reminding yourself "I'm looking into the eyes of god?" You may be surprised by the new quality of connections you will make...
*Say NO to your negative mind. The mind is a problem solving/problem creating mechanism. This only contributes to manifesting unwanted reality. When you catch your mind going negative/worrying put a stop on it! You'll be surprised how much extra quality time you'll have and how many 'problems' will resolve themselves...
*Keep tuning into your body. Notice your body sensations, connect with your feelings, your breath. There's so much aliveness happening inside us at every moment, do not let the busy mind overshadow the ongoing inner dance...
*Nurture your being. What do you really enjoy? What touches your soul, refreshes your mind, softens and expands your heart? Have time to do it, no matter how long or short...
