Awakening the Sacred Serpent

 

Kundalini energy (cosmic consciousness) has been portrayed as a snake curled at the base of the spine,  symbolizing our god-human potential.  Tantra recognizes sexual energy as one of the manifestations of kundalini.  Dance is a powerful way of stirring the sacred serpent from her sleep and our experiencing our divinity.

 

Our bodies are made to move :   Dancing  has been for millenia a powerful way of inviting spirit into the body, communing with the sacred cosmic forces.   In tantra,  we honor dance as an  ecstatic  expression of shakti (sexual)  energy, our  inner joy and aliveness.  Dance is meditation in motion.  When we are fully present in the body, the mind can rest in the stillness and the true being can soar free!

In this dynamic workshop we will use our bodies as  sacred instruments for  energy to flow.  Implementing tantric techniques  of activating and expanding sexual energy,  moving energy through chakras and releasing emotional blocks we will allow divinity to express itself through.  May you dance ecstatically as a magnificent being of love!

 

Warning: You don't need to be a confident dancer to attend.  Having a BODY that is capable of (some) movement is the only condition. May find you inner dance!
