JanuaryNewsletterBeautiful Beings of Light,
And so you have welcomed New Year (though time is only a relative concept, it appears important to us when occupying physical bodies), and perhaps with new dreams, hopes and intentions, and/or a bit of exciting mystery: What is in store this year for me, for us, for the planet? How can I serve the whole better? Where/how will I be guided? Can you feel that tingling of anticipation?
Maybe straight from the beginning you have perceived a sense of intensity, even discomfort - the push to let go of the old and present the gift of your true self in a bigger, more meaningful way is strong. There is a sense of urgency in in embodying higher awareness for for the sake of the planet and her whole creation. We have gone one loop in evolution and now it's time to start moving into another loop higher on the spiral.
I started this year in a Native American sweat lodge, sending prayers to all beings and listening to the prayers of others, which seemed to be so much alike, only giving away the oneness behind our unique body-minds. Yearning to be love, to serve love, to heal, to shine the light, to live in truth, to return our Mother Earth back in a state of loving harmony was the common theme. Yes, the calling of Her is becoming stronger and stronger, more and more people is waking up from the dream of ignorance. More and more people sense that the inner push of the soul wanting to be fully embodied. It really is beautiful. And yet, sometimes the transition from old to the new is challenging: The old is dying and the new has not arrived yet. Sometimes its painful: Letting go of the past can feel like a heartbreak (remember, when the heart is broken it only breaks more open). Sometimes its scary: That which has kept us cozily hooked a limited pattern collapses and we find ourselves naked in an unknown sea of endless possibilities!. And often its accompanied with some degree of discomfort: The ego's attempt to hold the status quo can be strong and will fight the change fiercely! It can be a mess, now what?
Okay, take a breath. A nice, deep one, that which arises all the way to the crown and returns all the way down to the roots (trees taught me that, and keep reminding me so every time I run to them for council). Whether it looks pretty or not, everything is in a perfect divine order. Really. The mind cannot figure this out. It wants to make/solve problems, comparing some unreal past anticipation of the future with what is. And as far as the limited mind goes, it will never be quite happy, for the mind is not where happiness lives. Neither it lives in the emotional pain body, governed by the lower chakras. Happiness is a natural state of our being that can be felt when sexual energy in her purity and innocence flows to the heart, being met by stillness, the unlimited mind beyond the chatter. That is the dance of shakti and shiva, so much celebrated in Tantra, so much vital for happiness of everyone. It's the dynamic bliss, the shining aliveness accessible within despite on what is going on on the outside. And still, as the outer is a reflection of the inner, the moment we drop into the inner bliss, the liquid universe reorganizes itself to be perceived in a new, more harmonious way.
When living in surrender, every moment is new, every moment is sacred, every moment holds potential for something amazing, something much greater than the limited mind is capable of conceiving. Endless opportunities and windows of transformation are opened on ongoing basis. What about celebrating a New Day every morning? A new moment? Dancing a Welcome Sun dance upon arising, blessing the sunset, worshiping the Moon goddess in the sky? Living a life can be a celebration of our aliveness, whether its been perceived as pleasure or pain, whether the mind attaches 'positive' or 'negative' tag to it. It is when we check out from the body, when we lose connection with our breath, our vital energies, that sense of dullness and misery creeps in. My invitation is to savor every moment in this precious form, to honor the sacred force of creation as our connection to life and to cultivate the inner witness, the still eye in the midst of the storm, to have joy in little things (like the crunchy, frost covered sparkling grass this winter morning). I invite you to worship the divine being in your partner (in any random moment) and see god reflected in everyone you meet. It is this place of union true divine guidance flows from, giving direction to your actions and profound meaning to your life. My upcoming events will give you a bit of a 'hands-on' training in all the above so it becomes a living reality instead of a few pretty written words.. .
. On the soon coming January 28-30 The Form Weekend you will learn a beautiful practice that can only be described as the dance of shakti and shiva, love as light in motion, witness consciousness and expanded sexual energy jointly cultivated in one sensuous, graceful movement, uncovering the reality of your true self behind illusory 'reality' of patterning. Many report it feels as if a light has been switched on and the veil of forgetfulness has been taken of to remember who we are.
Tantric Playground on Friday, February 4 is an invitation to all who enjoy rejoicing in the sweet loving space of Ipsalu Tantra and a wonderful introduction to the new and curious ones. If you playing with the idea of attending a longer Ipsalu workshop (please read below) here is a great warm up!

Time to learn living in bliss! Repeaters welcome as every experience is a brand new one...
I trust that this year will be a magnificent one for you and you will expand in ways you've never dreamed of. You are god and it is your birthright to embody life in its fullness! Shall we start right now?
Much Love & Tickles,
shakti*
