Wow, we are in the second month already! As I watch the tides rise and fall, the moon wax and wane, the sun move in its position in the sky and the seasons change more and more I'm aware of the of miracle of life: and the human life that is only a blink within a blink of an eye of the Divine Mother, on the planet Earth that is only a tiny speck within an universe magnitude of which the human mind can barely comprehend, for it is not possible for the limited mind to understand that which is unlimited. And yet infinite and unlimited is our true nature, and eternal is our life provided we rise above the limitations of and an attachment to this one particular body - and at the same  time this body invites to be fully entered, this life beckons to be lived in its fullness, and every moment in this life - in this body - is precious, is sacred.
Remembering the sacredness is, I believe the key to changing our ways, to waking up from a long unconscious dream, dropping from the head into the heart and treating our planet and all its creation with love and respect. As the moon rounds again in Her fullness (can anyone NOT be moved by Her astonishing mystical beauty?) and the first blossoms appear on the trees I am filled with hope and enthusiasm for the new to come, for the old filters of past patterns to drop and the truth of what truly is to be revealed.
 February is traditionally remembered by Valentine's Day, a sweet celebration of romantic love. While one may tend to squirm at anything that becomes too commercialized there is also an innocent energetic field available that can be used to tap into something deeper: I suggest you honor this time and make a special effort to nurture the romance with your inner beloved, the ultimate source of love. It is from this sacred union you are able to recognize the sacredness of nature, other beings and all creation. Your partner - if you have one - represents the formed aspect of the other within. He is your light, she is your love. As you worship one another, you are touching that deep aspect of yourself, surrendering your inner god/dess, becoming whole in your divinity and its human expression. If you are not currently in a relationship, it is an opportunity to deeply love and honor yourself, to look honestly within and see what parts of you are in need of unconditional acceptance. In either way, whether in partnership or not the journey always begins and ends with you, as ultimately you are the essence contained in all and the world is just one big mirror, with endless opportunities to get to know yourself better, and to love deeper, despite all odds.
