Dear Spring Buds,
With last month's Puja we delightfully welcomed Spring into our lives (and it has not rained since!) Oh, how beautiful Spring is! The heightened brightness and warmth of the sun, all the colors, flavors and fragrances, all that new life budding all around us (I have four new kittens residing in my bedroom closet)... So much invitation for us to flow with nature and do the same: To give birth to something new, to bring forth that which has been budding inside, to take the sunlight's inspiration and use our creative power to make it blossom! Yes, it's in e v e r y o n e ! And everyone's expression is unique. How do you blossom? Does it take a form of creating a new project, making a piece of art? Are you moving into a new home or new healthier body, starting a new job or a new relationship? Are you excited making a new delicious meal, organizing that old cluttered closet? Or you simply smile more, radiate more love and shine your inner beauty?

I've been watching the tiny delicate plants miraculously springing through the winter's goo, only to burst into sweet exquisite flowers. It happens often so with us. To bring forth our most exquisite 'blossoms' we sometimes need to push through the goo of resistance, sticky with old beliefs and outdated programming (and all the many variations of 'not good enough'..). A 'great' idea at one moment turns into a distant, unattainable wish the next one... What happened? We got stuck in the goo!
Plants don't get stuck. Plants just keep going because they are powered by the passion for life. They keep moving steadily through the dark earth until they reach the sunlight. At times they crack through a concrete, even an asphalt road! That's how much power there is in the tiny seed. That is the power of Earth's creative energy. We are powered by the same energy, our 'seeds' hold the same power. All they need is a nourishing ground of the heart. With the nourishment of love we can push through the concrete of mental or emotional obstacles just like they do. If a flower can blossom you can too!

Lately there has been a lot of talk about ascension. We understand it as moving into operating at a higher vibration of consciousness. Does it mean that we can just enter our angelic bodies, leave our gooey stuff behind and live happily ever after? Somehow I don't think so.
At my morning's nature walk as I was going through some intense dark emotions, two monstrously large dogs suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Their sinister barking and growling made my blood chill, as they charged towards me with fire in their eyes. I was caught completely off guard. The time suddenly stopped. Out of my darkness I looked up to God, counting my last moments on Earth. About a finger length right before me the dogs separated, running past me on either side, then continued their growling run to mysteriously disappear the mist. Later on, as I was sitting on a distant rock and crying, the dogs came again: Waging their tails, sniffing and licking me like their most treasured friend. Divine magic was present in each occasion.
To ascend we'll need to descend first. We'll need to come down from our mind and fully inhabit the body, to feel a firm ground under our feet. We'll need to bring the light of consciousness down into the deepest corners of our darkness, lovingly illuminate our shadows (they will not kill us). Only when we make loving friends with our demons we are ready. Ascension is only about three inches of work: Rising from the level of the ego (third chakra, solar plexus), to the level of the heart (the fourth dimension). About the same distance the young plant must make it through the soil.

And we'll need those roots to draw our creative shakti energy from!
So, come to explore the many ways in which you can blossom and shine your magnificence. This Thursday, April 9, Ipsalu Cobra Breath initiates will gather for a Full Moon Satsang. Friday, April 17 we'll bask in the magic of sexual energy transformed in Vajrayogini Tantra evening. On Saturday, April 25 we'll invite you to blossom your aliveness with the vibrance of sensation in The Tantric Art of Touch, an introduction to an upcoming full day workshop scheduled for Saturday, May 23.
Those interested in a more powerful initiation into the world of Tantra (that means ALL of you, right?), please note a date for our next Ipsalu Level 1 Cobra Breath Intensive: June 12-14. More info will follow shortly. And, of course, I am here with my private offerings to help you push through the resistance into your radiance with that extra nurturing focus.
Any special requests you'd like to make to feel radiant like a blossoming flower or a tree? Let us know. Become the active co-creator in our tantra community! My work is here to serve you, and becoming a conscious creator of your reality is a big part of it. So, go ahead, open that bud.

Have a creative month. May Easter be a celebration of BOTH your fertile, creative power AND your divine origin.
Namaste,
shakti*
